there a dress code?
Absolutely
not. dress as comfortably as you feel like.
Do
we provide off-site catering?
Yes, please call us for your next
function.
How
large of a group can we accommodate?
We can accommodate up to 110 guests for a sit down
dinner, and up to 175 for a cocktail party, with or
without a buffet.
Do we have to make reservations?
Although
reservations are not required to come to the Casbah,
they are highly recommended, especially on weekends and
for larger parties.
What are the hours of operation?
We are open
nightly from 5:30 to 10:30 pm. we take the last walk-in
at 10:30 pm. We are not open for lunch, although we do
accept private luncheons of groups of 20 or more guests.
Do you accept children and families?
Absolutely.
nothing compares to the look on a little girl or boy's
face when they see the belly dancer perform. in our menu
their the comfort food that children can choose. We can
also assist in their decision when ordering.
Children of 12 years of age and under are served the
same menu, with adjusted portions, at a 30% discount.
Do we have to sit on the floor?
The
answer is no. the way the restaurant is set-up, there is
only about 20% of the seating that is close to the
floor, about 4" high. the rest of the restaurant is
banquet seating, it's like a booth at some restaurants,
only about 1.5" lower than conventional.
Do we have to eat with our hands?
It is
recommended to eat with your hands as is the case in
Moroccan traditional families, however utensils are
available upon request.
Is the entertainment only for certain
times?
No, belly dancers usually start between 6:30-7:00 PM.
Sometimes earlier according to reservations. they dance
on and off until 10:30 or 11:00 pm.
What about parking?
As in most of the historic district, parking is on the
streets, there is plenty of parking space around the
restaurant. Please do not put money in the meters after
5:00 pm.
Where is Morocco?
In the
most northwestern corner of Africa, about 14 miles south
of Europe, off the coast of Spain (La Costa Del Sol) and
the Straight of Gibraltar.
